I love weddings because I don’t just see a bride and groom dancing to their favorite song out on the dance floor. I see myself and Christine out there dancing our first dance. It’s been five years since our special day and still; every wedding, every first dance, takes me right back to that day. Hanging in our living room is a photo of our first dance, the look in my eyes as I dance with Christine, thinking about the rest of our lives together, is captured in a timeless photograph.
Since the birth of our little girl, Hannah Fay, there isn’t a father/daughter dance where I haven’t teared up behind my camera, thinking ahead to the day I’ll be dancing with Hannah at her own wedding. What can I say? I’m an emotional person.
