After months of coordinating and planning their wedding from Georgia, Alice and Lee celebrated their long awaited wedding at The Grandview on a picture perfect (every pun intended) day.
During a wonderful, emotional ceremony at St. Joseph’s church in New Paltz, everything really seemed to “fall” into place (sorry Mrs. Massimi). Before heading to Locus Grove for portrait photos, we made a quick stop for some photos on the old truss bridge in New Paltz. With several of Lee’s fellow Army Rangers stopping traffic, Alice and Lee jumped out of the limo for a few artistic photos mid span on the bridge.
Not surprisingly, The Grandview had a perfect night of service and with the steady tunes from the fantastic band, the dance floor was packed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a complete impromptu congo line start from a song other then “Hot, Hot, Hot” but non-the-less, there we had one.
Alice and Lee, I wish you both all the best in the world. Lee, to you and your fellow groomsmen and all who serve in harms way, we owe you the world. I thank you both for giving me the opportunity to photograph your wedding, and the opportunity to do something for those who do so much for us all.
