Date: August 1st, 2009
Perfect… The only way to describe the day Mary and Erik picked to have their wedding. If you photograph weddings long enough, you will eventually encounter every type of weather from rain and snow to lightning and the occasional plague of locusts. But that wasn’t the case on August 1st. The good luck with weather that started with their engagement session continued through out their wedding day.
The first thing I noticed when walking into the hotel room where Mary was getting ready was, a complete setup of Rock Band for Wii (see photo #21). While Mary continues to insist it was Erik who spent the night fantasizing that the next day he was taking that microphone not to say his vows, but to ask the crowd of thousands, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK???
From an elegant early evening, outdoor ceremony, to a magically lit, sunset photo session on the pristine grounds of The Manor, Mary and Erik were glowing.
With the dance floor packed and the DJ’s lights electrifying the room, the rest of the night actually looked like a scene from Rock Band.
You guys are two very special people who are obviously made for one and other.
